Great Chinese director goes NBA — the scandal of being a big time Baby Daddy

Here’s what I remember about the one time I interviewed the great Chinese director Zhang Yimou. The director of “Ju Dou,” “Raise the Red Lantern,” “Hero,” “House of Flying Daggers” etc. talked about never calling his leading ladies to the set before noon so that “I can photograph them at their most beautiful, after a long sleep — no puffiness around the eyes.”

The man loves his ladies.

He’s embroiled in a big sex/paternity scandal in China, where he’s accused of having seven children by three different women.

Your average NBA team has five guys under contract who fit that description. But In China, where having more than one child is a crime, where finding ways to get around that is an art, he’s in real hot water.
