Anna Kendrick joins “Into the Woods”

The “Pitch Perfect” star is going all musical on us. Anna Kendrick is currently shooting “The Last Five Years.” A musical.

And now she’s in line to play Cinderella in the new Rob Marshall film of “Into the Woods,” the mash-up musical by Stephen Sondheim that Bernadette Peters scored with on Broadway back in the ’80s.

 

It’s about Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and a lot of witches, etc., all rounded up from Grimm Fairytales.
