Weekend Box Office: “Furious” at $35 already, $100million+ by Monday

“Epic” and “Hangover Part III” are battling for second place — $50 million each is the projection.

But “Fast & Furious 6,” which sounded like (from audience reax) a $100-120 million hit when I saw it a week or two back, is bowling them over already. That’s based on deadline.com’s Wed./Thursday midnight projections.

“Star Trek” has trekked off “Into Darkness.”

Saw F&F6 this morning and was stunned at how big the early morning crowd was. Big numbers for sure.
