I get the distinct impression that all the buzz about this no-name movie, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which plainly no actor, writer or director of great repute wants much to do with, is built around trolling for traffic among the millions who read the badly-reviewed dirty book.
So now Jamie Dornan is the “Wait, who?” set to star in it, instead of Charlie Dunham (“Wait, who?”).
TV actors, with only Jennifer Ehle, who broke out in “Pride & Prejudice” in the 90s (on TV) as a seriously recognizable name in the cast. Dornan’s on “The Fall” on TV, a few other shows.
WordPress isn’t letting links work, for some reason. Go to IMDb if you want the guy’s credits.
Irish, hunky, kind of generic. But we’ll see.
I’ve never read any of the ‘Fifty Shades’ book, and from the asinine talk going about on finding an actor for the upcoming film version, I can postulate one thing: This movie is going to be a great disappointment. Especially for women!
