EXCLUSIVE: Ray Winstone on his part in Aronofsky’s “Noah”

ImageGot just a few words in with Ray Winstone at the end of our chat about “The Sweeney,” opening in some US cities Friday, about “Noah.” He’s in it, the Darren Aronofsky/Russell Crowe take on the Biblical tale.

“I had a great time on that, up in New York when Russell Crowe and Darren Aronofsky. I play Tubal Cain, if that tells you anything about the character. (He is the heavy in the story, Noah’s “Nemesis,” a big burly metalworker). “What a great time, making a movie when the Big Storm (Sandy) came in. You couldn’t help but think ‘God’s saying he doesn’t want you to make this film.’
