Everybody wants Nick Barrow dead. The mob, corrupt cops, people working for the mob or the corrupt cops. He’s doomed and he knows it. So in an act of selflessness — he takes out a life insurance policy that will benefit his estranged daughter. The hang-up? The million dollar payout won’t take effect for 21 days. Nick has to stay alive that long for her to collect.
“Term Life” is the name of the graphic novel that comes from, and it’s being adapted by Vince Vaughn and his “Afterschool Special” pal Peter Billingsley for the big screen.
