Would this Benedict Cumberbatch shower scene have helped “Star Trek”?

Not a bad movie, as I said in my review. But not much fun, either.
Nice of J.J. Abrams to drop this nugget on Conan O’Brien. Who remembered the redhead was still on?

    Helped it? No! It had one too many contrived fleshy scenes.

    The cheesecake scene was with McCoy, not Kirk. Interesting that both host and guest remember it otherwise.

      It was with Kirk. I saw the film a second time last night. McCoy went with her to the planetoid and flirted during the torpedo disarming.
