You probably already have a question like this planned, but I’d like to see Akiva asked about how he found adapting the book. Was it a big challenge, since the book is so vast and sprawling? How did he decide which threads to keep and which threads to drop or radically cut down (the film seems to be very much focused on the Peter and Beverley story from the previews, and characters like Hardesty, Christiana, Mrs Gamely and Jackson Mead appear to have been left out altogether).I know Akiva loves the book so would be curious to discover how he found radically reshaping the source material into a standard length film.
