It’s a Mandela and Middle Earth Monday.

The Nelson Mandela bio-pic starring Idris Elba and Naomie Harris opened in VERY limited release a week or two back. Blew up the box office in South Africa. Didn’t make much of a dent in the box office.
It opens wide on Christmas.
Friday, we get “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.”
Since the original novel was subtitled “There and Back Again,” can we assume we’ll be “there” for this film, and the third movie in this seriously unofficial trilogy (different characters, dialogue fiddling, etc.) will be “Back Again”?
Maybe not.
