Two of comedy’s most successful entrepreneurs, Tyler Perry and Larry the Cable Guy, will unite in “Madea’s Christmas,” a comedy Perry is set to make on the heels of failing to break free from his meal ticket with the “Alex Cross” franchise.
Chad Michael Murray has also joined the cast. Tika Sumpter and Kathy Najimy were already on board.
It’s not slated to come out next Christmas, but to begin production Dec. 13 — a Christmas movie shot over the holidays. It’s based on a Perry Madea play set, not in Atlanta, but in the country during the holidays.
