BOX OFFICE: “Black Adam” $62, “Ticket to Paradise” $16, “Halloween…Ends”

The running tally from Friday has now firmed up at $26.8 million, including Thursday’s previews.

So now the ceiling on Dwayne Johnson’s supervillain/superhero project “Black Adam” looks like $62 million. Earlier predictions were well north of $70.

Indifferent to angry reviews didn’t boost it, but word of mouth seems OK, so it should hit this new lower mark without a problem. At least the theaters are full. Ish.

The George Clooney/Julia Roberts rom com “Ticket to Paradise” is pulling in an older audience to the tune of $16 million.

“Halloween Ends” is streaming and it is falling off over 70% in box office take on its second weekend — under $9. “Smile” will end up doing better in theaters, overall.
