Movie Preview: An uplifting “all we’ve overcome” period piece about growing up Black and Female — “The Supremes at Earls’ All-You-Can-Eat”
Sanaa Lathan, Uzu Abada and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor are joined by Mekhi Pfifer, Vondie Curtis Hall and Tony Winters in this feel-good dramedy, based on the novel by Edward Kelsey Moore. Hulu has this one slated for Aug. 23 release.
