Movie Preview: It’s Sigmund vs. C. S. in “Freud’s Last Session”

Christmas is an apt time for any movie about Christianity’s most eloquent apologist.

Anthony Hopkins has played both real people in this story about a meeting between the “Narnia” novelist (Matthew Goode) and the esteemed Dr. Freud.

Looks promising. No, it didn’t “really happen.” I’ve not seen the play this is based on, but that C.S. Lewis, because of what he’s represented over the decades (“Christian intellectual arguing for faith”) is a favorite of playwrights and screenwriters.
