"Find what you love and let it kill you." – Charles Bukowski
Keeping an eye on all the latest mainstream films and television.
Robert Englund’s name being mentioned automatically creates chills down the zone of anticipation of something fantastically creepy. There are only a handful of actors whom I consider the same caliber as Robert; the first would be the late and great Vincent Price, who’s recognizable by utilizing his mere laugh.
The second name that automatically generates an immediate recoiling response is Paul Rubens, better known as PeeWee Herman. With a name like that, how could he not be scary? Kidding, but honestly Vincent Price is to the Silver Screen of Horror as Elvis Presley is to Rock n’ Roll. Ireeplaceable.
As my memory serves me, Vincent Price is to horror as Elvis is to Rock ‘n Roll. That being said, when we speak of other horror flicks, how many people do you think can even regurgitate the actor’s name. Speaking for myself, I have no idea of the actors’ names from any other roles. I’d like to think that just as Vincent Prices DNA is ground into his roles, Robert Englund has also taken up a permanent casting but have no fear, seriously, he’s one of the few actors who have made his honor solid.
