Movie Preview: A Drama from Italy about “The Tasters” of Hitler’s Food

Real people had this culinary duty — women, apparently. What must their fears, even as they ate better than 95% of Europe at the time, have been like? Their politics?

They were the basis for Rosella Posterino’s novel which writer-director Silvio Soldini and others committed to film.

This appears to have a Canadian release date, if not one for North America in general. “Coming soon” it is, then.
